Splendid Littles for Target

Splendid is a brand that Tori Spelling loves…and we always spot celebrity babies wearing their stylish little outfits. Now, you can purchase Splendid Littles at Target! We received this striped dress in the mail to review, and it is chic, soft and stylish. Here is what the brand has to say about the new line! “The Splendid Littlies line for Target is offering a variety of clothes, bibs and blankets for newborns-5T. The line just debuted is available only through March. The line includes looks for little girls such as striped bodysuits,  lavender ruffled halter-neck dress with a matching striped cardigan, a blue-and-pink striped tunic with coordinating leggings, and a striped pink-and-navy hoodie and T-shirt dress. Boy looks included striped bodysuits, hoodies and collared shirts with solid-colored long sleeves sewn on underneath. Prices range from $6.99 for a set of striped bibs to $29.99 for newborn sleep set, which includes a blanket, a striped body suit and a pocket-sized striped cap.”

Check it out online or in Target stores! {Thanks to Splendid Littles for the dress.}

Holiday Gifts: Moody Mamas

Maternity wear can be stylish….but it is often inconvenient to drive to a specialty store for a new outfit. Which is why it is exciting that Moody Mamas has a new maternity line at Target.com! Moody Mamas is a luxury maternity brand that provides chic clothing for expectant moms. We love how the line looks…well… unlike maternity clothes! We received the plum dress (shown below) as a sample of the line, and it looks chic and sophisticated. Check out the Moody Mamas homepage, too.

Kids In Need Foundation, Back-to-School

Hello! Today is the last day of August! Everyone is getting ready for Back-to-School time, which makes me think about the kids who do not have the supplies they need when they show up to their first day of school. The Kids In Need Foundation is a not-for-profit with a mission to ensure that every child is prepared to learn and succeed by providing free school supplies nationally to students most in need. The Foundation does this through 24 resource centers across the country, where teachers can “shop” for free supplies. The Foundation also supports a teacher grant program; all K-12 educators nationwide are eligible. Finally, the Foundation supports a school box program to help get supplies to students in rural areas. The Kids In Need Foundation 2010 gala and business luncheon is on September 29 at The Depot in Minneapolis. The gala reception is sponsored by Target. For more details on the gala and luncheon, visit the KINF site. You can buy your tickets online here. To learn more about the Foundation, or to make a donation, you can “fan” the Kids In Need Foundation Facebook site. Cheers to a great school year!

Katie Cruise and Suri Cruise: Summer Fun

Photo courtesy of People.

Katie Cruise and Suri enjoy a relaxing day of summertime shopping. Suri, looking cheerful in a colorful dress, also toted around her signature accessory: a Playtex bottle with milk.

Some child development experts say two-year-old Suri is much to old to be drinking from a bottle, but sources close to Katie say the mother is not concerned. Perhaps dad Tom Cruise is more relaxed than he seems?

We have to hand it to Suri, this baby accessory is affordable!

The Playtex Drop-Ins system can be purchased at Target online, and in stores for $15.89.
