This room is opulant and clean at the same time. One thing I admire about the room is the ability to transition the style from baby to little girl quite easily. The color combination is fresh, too. And we see the “curtains” around the canopy. I also like the custom-trimmed ottoman. I wonder if it is as comfortable as the glider? It is a glamorous alternative. This nursery was designed by House of Ruby in San Francisco.

Fabric can really jazz up a room….or create a calming effect on a room. I am beginning to love curtains. They are a great alternative to a door in a nursery closet. And when they are attached a ceiling, they can make a great backdrop on a wide wall. (No window required!) Of course, the sophisticated drama of fabric around a canopy is a personal favorite of mine. Guess what this is? This is post 500 on AListBaby.net. Can you believe it? I started this blog more than two years ago. So much has happened! Friends have welcomed babies into the world, I met Mr. AList, and now we run our own company. I have learned so much about the world of luxury baby goods! And today, I feature a very special nursery design I spotted at Restoration Hardware Baby & Child. THIS is what I am talking about!

Cute! The nursery designed for Samantha Harris was featured on Design Dazzle, and we just have to share! We love watching Samantha on Entertainment Tonight, but we miss her on Dancing With The Stars. She went for a lovely, girly-goo nursery. We like it.

This nursery is so cool and calming! I just want to snuggle in and take a nap! We adore this modern farm nursery we spotted on Design Dazzle. The room is blue and white, with just a punch of color. This is a style we have not yet seen–but we like the “picket fence” white border around the center of the room. Well done!
