The best advice my Dad ever gave me was: “It is nice to be smart, but it is smarter to be nice.” That advice has served me well. My career is 100 percent relationship-driven. I hope to pass that advice on to my children someday. I just spotted this notebook at Smythson. It says, “Work hard and be nice to people.”
