Yellow and Grey! Such a divine color scheme for a baby shower. We found this splendid shower on the blog Head of The Table! I love the alphabet sign behind the drink table, and I also adore the glasses with the little slices of lime. It’s the details that really make a party special. I also spot the Waterford Lismore vase….two of my good friends own that! (Maybe I should get one, too?) Enjoy the photos, and you can click on them to make them larger.

We have been hearing more and more talk about the “baby sprinkle”, a party for expectant moms who already have a little one or two at home. What a great idea! Every baby is a reason to celebrate. The main difference is the sprinkle is a little less gift-intensive. Party goers may bring the mom a little something, but it is more of a celebration of the new life. The Party Dress has some great shower ideas, that would work great for a sprinkle.

We love the red, white & blue candy buffet we created for our Independence Day party! With the help of candy.com, the buffet included tasty treats like strawberry twists, cherry stick candy and blue raspberry gummies.(Just click on the images below to make them larger.) Our friends took home their treats in red takeout boxes with the stylish labels we blogged about yesterday. We used the red parasols I brought back from Sherene’s wedding in San Francisco. The color and candy concepts are endless, and I am sure this treat table will be my first of many! Have you created a candy buffet? We would love to see your photos at alistbabyblog (at) yahoo (dot) com.

Candy buffets are all the rage for baby showers and first birthday parties. And we love how you can coordinate the colors of your buffet to match the theme of your event. For Fourth of July Parties, we love white candy, with red and blue accents! The vintage look of rock candy is always sweet, and mints are a big hit for showers and weddings. One of my favorite candies will always be the vanilla salt water taffy. It reminds me of fun days on the Atlantic City boardwalk with my sorority sisters. For a little girl’s birthday party, we love these Flash Pop Rings! Check them all out at ACandyStore.

We love the cupcake tower used in our AList girl’s wedding this weekend! The top layer was a cake for the ceremonial cake cutting, and it was surrounded by tiers of perfectly decorated cupcakes! We savored a banana flavored cupcake, but there were several delicious flavors. Congratulations, Sherene & Wilson! Your day was legendary. Sherene, you looked gorgeous. More photos to come, AListBaby readers!
