Hello! When I was growing up, I always received a present when I had to buy a present for a friend’s birthday party. This afternoon, I am thinking about what gift I am going to bring our niece for her brother’s first birthday party. It is more fun for a little one to watch her sibling open gifts when she has a prize, too. This Hello Kitty digital camera would be perfect! She could document her little brother’s birthday party in style. We adore Hello Kitty because it brings back so many fun memories as a child!

We really love the products we just received from Lifefactory. First of all, they have the best teether ever! My nephew is right in the middle of teething, and he absolutely adores this thing! My sister-in-law says it has helped soothe him in the middle of the night more than once. The glass bottles feature stylish silicone sleeves that protects them from breaking. And let me tell you, this bottle did crash onto my tiled kitchen floor… and made it through without a crack.  Lifefactory’s products are free of BPA and PVC. All products are dishwasher safe! Some of our favorite infants will soon be toddlers, and they will be upgrading from baby bottles to cups. We want to pass along the importance of protecting our environment. That includes trading disposable water bottles for reusable beverage bottles. Made from pure aluminum and 100% recyclable, SIGG says their products are free from any harmful chemicals such as BPA’s. And they have designs made for children, too!  The durable bottles have a baked on, non-porous interior lining that is taste neutral so you can have lemonade one day and water the next, without any lingering taste or odor. An organized home is a happy home, right?! Mr. Alist and I have been on an organizational kick this new year. We are both very organized people….because when things are neat and orderly, it is easier to get a job done. Like birthday cards, for instance. When I was in grade school, I babysat for a woman who made out her birthday cards at the beginning of each month, stamped and addressed them, and then attached a sticky note alerting her of when to mail them. Wow. A girl can dream. Come to think of it, this wonder woman was also skinny and perpetually tan. (Baby steps, Mary!) Remembering my loved ones birthdays will be easier with this Birthday Book, $4.95 from a company called Get Buttoned Up. I am entering our family and friends’ birthdays today, and I will let you know how our road to organization in 2010 is going!

Our friends at boon create the most sleek baby designs! This drying rack is just cool. The two-piece design makes it easy to clean. Water drains into the lower tray while baby accessories rest on flexible grass blades to air dry. Great for everything from bottles to pacifiers. We received one as a gift from boon, and we love it!

Here is a cute gift idea, perfect for baby’s first stocking! tinytongs feature an ergonomic, curved shape to perfectly fit tiny hands.  The utensil’s non-slip grip is formed to stay in a child’s hand. When using tinytongs, children also strengthen their hand muscles, the same muscles used in later years when learning how to write. Made from polypropylene and TPE over-molding, tinytongs are non-toxic, lead, BPA and Phtalate Free. We received a set from the company, and we think they work well!

We are really excited about the new Mutsy Transporter stroller. And after trying it out, we have to share it with you! This sporty 4-wheeler has a very compact and easy fold. It has an easily adjustable reclining seat, a 4-position height adjustable push bar, and 2 front-swivel wheels. The Transporter comes with a comfortably padded seat, suitable for babies three months to 55 pounds, a front bar, a protective hood, and an accessible shopping basket. Around the AList offices, we love a good cookie! And we were excited when the UPS driver delivered delicious gourmet cookies from Harvard Sweet Boutique!
