We spotted this sweet and cheerful yellow and white nursery on the site Nursery Notations! Love the Jenny Lind crib, and the freshly-painted white dresser. I love the idea of painting dull dresser handles with a pop of color! I am inspired just looking at the room. I can imagine a lot of fun and creativity happens here!

2010Smart, Classic & Fun

Smart, Classic and Fun is how I describe my nursery concept for one of the most important people in the world to me. Last week, she told me she is expecting a little one! But not everyone knows…so it is still a big secret. This mom-to-be always looks her best. She is calm under pressure, way smarter than your average bear, and definitely not a fan of pastels. I put together a nursery concept that would suit their family’s fun and low-key lifestyle. I love you, girl, and best wishes for the new addition!

So sweet! We love these adorable little girl rooms we spotted on Marie Claire Maison! As you are getting your little ones ready to head back-to-school, here is some inspiration on how to transorm their bedrooms into a little slice of heaven. Before you know it, they will want to cover their walls with Jonas Brothers posters, blast their radios and act indignant when you walk into “their” room. Not to worry. They will snap out of it when they are about 19. Enjoy the sweetness!

I love french play rooms! I recently discovered Marie Claire Maison online. I am so jealous. While we have the Marie Claire fashion magazine, we do not have the interior design publication here in the United States. And it is a shame. Les femmes francaises sout si elegants! (French women are so stylish!) My high school french is slowly rolling back to me as I leisurely flip through the online galleries of this lovely publication! J’adore these play rooms. I hope you do, as well. Au revoir!

I cannot resist featuring these sweet little girl rooms today. When your baby girl turns into a little lady, it is time to transition the design. These styles are fun and sassy, and not too frilly. For your bright and imaginative little stars. We found these rooms at Simplified Bee, a fun interior design site!

This room is opulant and clean at the same time. One thing I admire about the room is the ability to transition the style from baby to little girl quite easily. The color combination is fresh, too. And we see the “curtains” around the canopy. I also like the custom-trimmed ottoman. I wonder if it is as comfortable as the glider? It is a glamorous alternative. This nursery was designed by House of Ruby in San Francisco.
