Thank you to everyone who sent us their gorgeous nursery photos! Keep them coming! We love them, and we cannot wait to start featuring them next week. In the meantime, check out this gorgeous nursery from HGTV’s Rate My Space. The french toile decor is accented by Benjamin Moore paint in Caramel Apple. And we spotted the same crib at Posh Tots! It is called Bonne Nuit, and sells for $2760. (We will keep you posted the next time Posh Tots has an online sale!)

I mentioned my love for PoshTots before, and their latest luxury gift will not disappoint!
This luxe gift is perfect for your lil’ pirate. Warning….the $52,000 price tag could leave you feeling a little sea sick. Here are some of the features of this ultimate playhouse:
-
Includes captain’s quarters, upper and lower decks, and crow’s nest
-
17 windows and peep holes, and cannonball mast
-
Douglas fir structural subflooring and framed walls
But the good news is…each ship is custom-built to meet the owner’s specifications.
I do not want to order mine unless they promise I get a freshwater shower.
One of my favorite design blogs, {this is glamorous}, introduced me to a London-based website for the decoratti. This affirms that despite how hard we all try, we never truly leave high school. Here are my results:
Home-Coming Queen
Nothing, budgets included, stops you from putting your all into creating your dream home. Your look is quintessentially feminine: cool, pretty colors; layered patterns and textures; and flawless attention to every detail.
The site says Claudia Schiffer, 37, and I share the same style. (Wow! We are practically twins!) In case you were wondering, she still holds the world record for appearing on the most magazine covers. She has two children, Caspar, 4 and Clementine, 2. They all posed for Vanity Fair last June.

Here is how I see that translating into baby decor. Restoration Hardware has a sweet new baby line. I love it, but I think it is too cookie-cutter without a personal touch.

The recent birth of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s twins, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, reminds me of this W Magazine photo shoot in July 2005.

This concept was created by Brad and photographer Steven Klein, during the filming of Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Based on a picture-perfect suburban family with dark secrets, it is a thought-provoking look at the stereotypical American family; a mold the couple always refused to fill. Instead, the couple paved their own path.
Brad, of course, was still married to Jennifer Anniston during this shoot. Angie claims the two became “close friends” on-set. Brad later adopted Jolie’s son Maddox, whom she adopted from Cambodia. Together, they adopted Zahara and Pax, and conceived Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne. After the jump, view baby furniture that would fit in perfectly with this W photo shoot…. Read the rest of this entry »
I recently found this nursery photo on a design blog, and fell in love!

It is pure, dreamy and chic all at the same time.
Maybe this baby actually sleeps in the master, because I know not a person who could keep this immaculate for long. It is definitely my new fantasy nursery!
Petit Tresor in West Hollywood has some of my favorite white cribs.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony’s nursery for twins Emme and Max (below) has a similar vibe. Next week, we will have all the details on their incredible baby suite, and tips on how to recreate the same look for less!
