Sure, the weather is frigid across much of the country, but we are dreaming of our beach vacation today! The fabric is soft, the colors vibrant, and the style is unique to this line of clothes! We cannot wait to check out their adorable line of swimwear; we will let you know what we think!

We mentioned our love for Tori and Dean’s decorating style in the past; we have to admit we are big fans of Home Sweet Hollywood on TLC. Tori’s Hollywood Glam vibe is very appealing. And we loved their daughter Stella’s room when it was featured on the show last season.

Today, we learned the furnishings are from one of our favorite baby stores, Posh Tots! We recall that Tori wanted a chic look for baby Stella, and Dean insisted on a pink room for his first daughter. Below are some of the items that made this luxe room a showstopper.

In a baby’s first months of life, many experts agree that reading a book aloud is one of the most important things a parent can do to positively impact their child’s development. To encourage an early love of books, we love this book rack we found for $89 at Wal-Mart! The chic nursery below, found on OhDeeDoh, features a similar rack found at Pottery Barn. We like the idea of having books organized close to the reading chair.

We are thrilled to be listed as a favorite blog on Jenn Sbranti’s HostessBlog! We are part of the site’s Haute Moms and Kids blogroll. I visit Jenn’s site several times a week, for creative party concepts, chic gift ideas and glamorous decor concepts. The site has an excellent baby shower section, and one of my favorite concepts is the Bubbly Ducky Baby Shower. Some of my favorite photos from the theme are below. I do love planning a fabulous baby shower!

Pantone is the guiding authority on international color trends, and we have to admit; they usually get it spot-on. For instance, last year they told us blue iris would be the color to watch in 2009. Check out Kate Winslet looking smashing in blue.

What’s next? Pantone says mimosa. A cheery yet calming shade of yellow. OhDeeDoh did a great post, highlighting some of their favorite yellow nurseries from the past year. Some of my favorites are below. Gender-neutral and on-trend. We like it.
