My best friends are just like family to me.
That is why their babies are so special. They were once only a twinkle in their mothers’ eyes. As Jane Austen said, there are as many forms of love as there are moments in time. As I recall moments in time from my childhood and teenage years, I get a little nostalgic for the sleeping bag parties, couch Olympics, cheerleading at the Friday night football games (front row, thank-you-very-much), and evenings when we had nothing better to do than watch a chick flick and paint our nails. If we took a snapshot of life right now…it would look pretty good, would it not? In ten years, what will make us nostalgic for today?
Congratulations to Kristin on her new baby boy, Everett Michael.

A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous.
~Coco Chanel
Fall weather makes me think of Burberry!
And when I think of Burberry…I see a woman who is both classy and fabulous.
Someone who wears Burberry strikes me as an independent thinker with traditional values.
Saks has the refreshing fall collection of clothing for babies and children.
These three items are my favorites.

The dress, $180.

The coat, $295.

The booties , $69-80(!)

We are sure many of you have your costumes lined up for your little pumpkins and princesses this Halloween. I love the idea of siblings in coordinating costumes. Like this Dorothy costume, for under $25 and the little lion for $52.

Twins would also be so much fun! I wonder what Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s kids will be wearing this Halloween? And where are they hiding those twins, Vivienne and Knox?

The Trendy Twin Shop has some coordinating Halloween onesies and tees that are super sweet! A pair of onesies or t-shirts are $38.95 a set. They are fun and comfy, so the babies would be happy in them all day. What can I say? My name is a nursery rhyme.
And I embrace it.
I also have a crush on Restoration Hardware baby & child.
So I decided it was time for me to feature their new lamb collection.
The cuddle plush lamb collection (above) is $18 to $45, and features a floor blanket, security blanket, booties and toys.

This lamb music mobile is $79, and looks exactly like the mobile I had when I was a baby! My mom and sister are going to laugh when they see it.

The four pieces of angel lamb art (above) are lithographs from Posh Tots. They are $264 for the set of four. Lambs are sweet and soothing.
